'Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's'

I don't know if Caesar ever built himself a strawbale property but if he did then he'd have
had an awful lot of rendering to do.  After a relaxed start, September was a month of
rendering accompanied by the sudden arrival of Autumn towards the end.  We lost about
four days due to heavy rain and gales but the house (and tarpaulins) withstood it all,
thankfully.  We tried using a compressor (thanks for the loan, Jason) for the first coat but
the mix was too thick for the gun and so we used our hands for all coats - nothing
mechanised about this build apart from the mixer (thanks Chris)!

It turns out that 'Many hands make lime work' so we were really grateful for the help from
our hard-working volunteers: Lukin, Rachel and Alan; Holly's parents Chris & Sue, as well
as our good friends Sarah and Neil.
